Jodie-Ann is a queer Jamaican-Canadian femme, born and raised in Montreal. She is very much interested in ancestry and lineage as sources of strength and healing. Her work is inspired by the resilience and growth of her community. She is currently the outreach coordinator at Montreal Pride where she co-organized an all-QTPOC performance show called Excellence. She is committed to giving space to fellow QTPOCs in the arts and performance scenes in the ways she can. She enjoys taking selfies, reading, writing and dancing. She also loves cats and has two at home!
